Nellie Marie (Hale) Rightmire

Nellie Marie Rightmire, 85 of Cameron, MO passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013.

 

She was born on May 3, 1927 to Raymin and Bessie (Horn) Hale in Ashland, KY where she grew up and attended school.

 

On September 22, 1944 she was united in marriage to Dewy G. Rightmire.  After their marriage they live in Ashland, KY, Ironton, OH, Westwood, KY, Emporia, KS, St. Joseph, MO and Cameron, MO and in 1970 they moved to Kansas City, MO where they made their home.  Her husband Dewey passed away on December 15, 2000.  Nellie then returned to Cameron.

 

She was a member of the Baptist faith.  Nellie enjoyed being with her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

 

Nellie was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers Barney Hale and Charles Hale and sister, Thelma Walker.

 

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Everett and husband Francis, Cameron, MO; one son Warren Rightmire and wife Diana, Kansas City, MO; six grandchildren, Mike Everett, Bill Everett, Sherrie Duke and husband John, Jennifer Orlando and husband Michael, Daron Dietz and Kimberly Wilhoite and husband Stephen; sister, Marion Hale, Ashland, KY; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. 

 

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday January 14^th  at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower with visitation one hour prior to the service

Burial:  Allen Cemetery, Gower
