We were so saddened to have learned of Myrna’s passing. She was the 1st “Edgerton person” we met when we moved here 31 years ago, and visited the library. What a warm welcome we received! She was so kind and went out of her way to help us get acclimated. Over the years, have enjoyed crossing paths with her in the community, including working Elections with her. She was such an active, loving, devoted person in our community, and will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences to the family.

Myrna was such a wonderful person and will be missed by many. She had a great sense of humor and never knew a stranger. Even after my Dad passed away, she’d always come up to me if I was in town and tell me stories and give me a big hug. My heart and prayers go out to her family.

I was blessed to have known Mrs Weese… while visiting Edgerton those many times we went to her home to see her and Mr Weese… she was proud to show us the many paintings of Mr Weese…they shared a few of the sketches of several of the paintings… the old Edgerton railroad station is one of them….I will always cherish all the sketches…
rest in peace Lovely Lady…

The community lost a wonderful person. She meant a lot to our family. Always willing to help and volunteer. Generous, kind and caring, all traits of Myrna. We have known Myrna and Delbert for many years. Good good people. Our prayers go out to family. She was always cooking and making something delicious. Our family has enjoyed many a wonderful treat provided by Myrna. This is a sad time. We will never forget you.

Myrna always brightened up the library when she came in to check out a stack of books to read. She knew many people and would stop and talk to them as she was in the library. May she be blessed to rest in peace with those of her loved ones who have gone before.

There are so many things she enjoyed, music being one of the most important things to her, but the #1 thing she loved most was spending time & watching sports with her Family. I have spent years listening to her get so excited retelling me stories about her Son, Kyle playing basketball & then her Grandkids always knowing MeeMaw was going to be in the stands cheering them on. She talked about her Church any time she could. You almost never seen her without a game on the TV, a book in her hand & county music playing in the kitchen:) I am so grateful for all the things she has taught me over the years, like how to fry the MOST amazing tenderloins, how awesome Jamesport actually was, even when I teased her about it lol & how to make sweet tea like MeeMaw bcuz apparently I didn’t put enough sugar in like she does… according to Jordan & Mason at least lol there’s so many wonderful things you can say about Myrna Weese, but these are the things closest to my heart
