MYRA O. STOLLE
Myra O. Stolle, 83, of Platte City, MO, formerly of West Union, Iowa, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at home following a short illness.
Myra was born on September 24, 1922 to Elliott Melvin and Olivia Grace Olson in Clermont, Iowa. She graduated from Clermont High School in 1940.
On November 18, 1943 she was united in marriage to Harry Stolle. After their marriage they lived on the family farm for 50 years. In September of 1992 they moved to Platte City, MO.
Myra was a member of the United Methodist Church in Platte City and a charter member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in West Union, Iowa. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and traveling with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister, Minnie Jungblut, sister, Vera Mae Olson, three brothers, Richard, Aines, and Mervin Olson.
Myra is survived by her husband, Harry, four daughters, Judy Graf and husband, Rod, Escondido, CA, Jan Simoens and husband, Brad, Hopkinton, IA, Jewel Biermann and husband, Dan, Dearborn, MO, Julie Wright and husband, Terry, Poway, CA. Bitsy and Papa’s four grandchildren are Amy Davis, Evan Davis and wife, Bree, J.D. Biermann and wife, Melissa, and Chelsie Biermann. They have one great-grandchild, Jadyn Biermann. Also surviving Myra is her sister, Bertha Olson, Clermont, IA, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday May 30th at Redeemer Lutheran Church, West Union, IA with visitations starting at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
