Muriel Lacy

Muriel (Duncan) Lacy, 93, of Trimble, Mo., passed away, February 19, 2005 at the Gower Convalescent Center.

She was born on August 24, 1911 to Woodson and Lenora (Wright) Duncan in Easton, Mo. Muriel moved to Grayson at the age of 4, and later graduated from Grayson High School. She lived in Grayson for many years, and in 1987 Muriel moved to Trimble where she made her home.

She was a member of the Methodist Church of Grayson.

Muriel was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Clyde, Roy and Vernon Duncan, and two sisters, Lillian Riley and Irene Daniels.

She is survived by one son, Charles Cowdrey and wife, Nancy, Winfield, Ks., three grandchildren, Paula Cowdrey, Bruce Cowdrey, and Paige Cirks, niece, Joyce Transmeier, Grayson, Mo., other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, Mo., with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial: Grayson Cemetery, Grayson, Mo.
