Miles Junior Zumbrunnen
Miles Junior Zumbrunnen, 88, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at North Kansas City Hospital.
He was born on February 4, 1920 in Braymer, MO. Miles was the son of Miles and Ethel (Conner) Zumbrunnen.
Miles served his country in the US Army during WWII and worked many years for KW-Dart in Kansas City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Mildred and three brothers, Clyde, JT and Bob.
Miles is survived by his wife, Hazel of the home, one son Donnie Rex and wife Patty, Independence, MO, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, brother, Donald and wife, Marcella, Raytown, MO; three sisters, Wilma James, Independence, MO, Laura Nell Kelly, Braymer, MO and Laveta Webb and husband Richard, Climax Springs, MO; two step-daughters, Judy Smith and husband Bob, Platte City, MO and Lucille VanNess and husband, Bill, Stewartsville, MO; five step-grandchildren, eleven step-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 9th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Burial with Military Honors: 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 9th at the Holden Cemetery, Holden, MO
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
