Mildred Louise (Wright) Hunt

Mildred Louise Hunt, 91, of Camden Point, MO passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015.

 

She was born on August 16, 1923 to James Clarence and Bertie Geneva (Wilson) Wright in Fayetteville, AR.  Louise grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Manuel High School. 

 

On August 2, 1940 she was united in marriage to Beauford Lynn Hunt, Sr.  After their marriage they lived in Kansas City until 1951 when they moved to Camden Point where they made their home.  Her husband Beauford passed away on February 2, 1998.

 

Louise was an active member of the Camden Point Baptist Church.  She was also a member of the Living History Group at Camden Point Elementary School.

 

She was a purchasing agent for a mattress manufacturing company for several years.  Louise later retired as an assistant librarian from the Camden Point Mid Continent Library.

 

Louise was also preceded in death by her parents, sister Aline Crowley, brother J.C. Wright and son Greg Hunt.

 

Louise is survived by two sons Beauford Lynn Hunt, Jr. and wife Lynne and David Hunt and wife Canda; three daughters Beverly Heath and husband Monte, Janet Everett and husband Mike and Cheryl Jacks and husband Doug; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 18th at the Camden Point Baptist Church

Burial:  Camden Point Cemetery

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 Tuesday, February 17th at the church.

Donations may be made to Camden Point Baptist Church.
