Mildred L. (Seuell) Lewis
Mildred L. (Seuell) Lewis, 97 of Smithville, MO formerly of Platte City passed away, Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Kansas City, MO.
She was born on March 5, 1915 to Davis and Euna Bee (Browning) Seuell near Platte City where she attended school and grew up.
In 1934 she was united in marriage to Orville Lewis. After their marriage they lived near Platte City where they farmed. In 1946 they moved to Smithville where they continued farming and made their home. Her husband, Orville, passed away in 1977.
Mildred worked for St. Regis Paper Company in Kansas City, MO for over 20 years and also worked as a volunteer for Spelman Memorial Hospital in Smithville for 18 years.
She was a member of the Smithville Christian Church.
Mildred was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Bill, Ralph, and Terry Seuell; five sisters, Merle, Patsy, Betty, Elton and Louise.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Foster, Smithville, MO and Norma Hoy, Kansas City, MO; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Bert Pierson, Smithville, MO.
Private Inurnment: Hampton Cemetery, Platte City.
The family suggests donations to the Smithville Christian Church.

Lots of good memories of Mildred when she lived in Platte County, Loved visiting with her. She was a great lady.
