Mildred Josephine (Berry) Williams
Mildred Josephine Williams, 95 of Gladstone, MO passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009.
She was born on October 1, 1913 to Frank Lee and Mamie Dee (Reeves) Berry in Edgerton, MO where she grew up in the Trimble area where she attended school.
She was united in marriage to Ervin Williams. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, MO where they made their home. Ervin preceded her in death in 2001.
Mildred was a member of the Gladstone Fellowship Pentecostal Church of God for many years. She was a homemaker and loved her family. Mildred’s philosophy was to love everyone, save money, laugh everyday and get plenty of sleep.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Donald James, Kenneth Lee and Joseph Edward and one sister, Mary A. Cook.
Mildred is survived by daughter, Donna Eason, Gladstone, son Robert Williams, Independence, MO; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; nephew, Rick Cook; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 28th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville.
