Mildred Cox

Mildred Cox, 93, of Kansas City, MO passed away, Friday, November 30, 2018.

She was born on August 19, 1925 to Caleb and Ellen Tobias in Salt Lake City, Utah where she grew up and attended school. 

On January 26, 1944 she was united in marriage to Elton Cox. After their marriage they lived in Salt Lake City for many years and later moved to Kansas City North. Her husband, Elton, preceded her in death on August 25, 1971.

Mildred was a member of the Antioch Bible Baptist Church. She loved to bless others with her cooking, ceramics, crocheted afghans, and shopping. But most of all she loved Jesus and her family.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George Tobias.

Mildred is survived by seven children, Jerry (Karen) Cox, Milton (Becky) Cox, Terry (Diane) Cox, Robert Cox, Patricia Young, Barbara (Warren) Siemers, and Cheryl (Jack) Dufoe; twenty grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5th at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.

Arrangements, Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO.
