Michele Marie (Garringer) Spease

Michele Marie Spease, 61, of Plattsburg, MO, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2009 at a hospital in Liberty, MO due to congestive heart failure after cheating cancer out of 11 ½ years.

She was born on August 22, 1948 to Darrell Leon and Maria Alberta (L’Esperance) Garringer in Wichita, Kansas.

On August 16, 1964 she was united in marriage to Charles David Spease. After their marriage they lived south of Gower. For the last 21 years, they have resided in Plattsburg where they owned Tiques and Stuff Antique Shop.

Mick was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Smithville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Willard Spease.

Mick is survived by her husband of 45 years, Chuck of the home; son, Tim Spease and wife, Edie; daughter Wendy Spease, all of Plattsburg; grandchildren, Larry Giglio, Phoebe Giglio, Blake Spease, Tori Marshall and Kaitlin Marshall; sister Beverly Birdwell and husband, James; many nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 2^nd at the Community of Christ, Smithville, MO

Burial: Green Lawn Cemetery, Plattsburg, MO.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
