Michael Lloyd Auxier

Michael Lloyd Auxier, 44, of St. Joseph, MO, formerly of Easton, MO, passed away, Sunday, January 11, 2009.

He was born on January 10, 1965 to Lloyd Philip and Loretta Jane (McClellan) Auxier in St. Joseph. He grew up in Easton and graduated from East Buchanan High School in 1984.

Mike was a cab driver for American Cab Company in St. Joseph. He was a member of the Midway Baptist Church in Easton. Mike was also an avid mushroom hunter.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Hazel Auxier and Chester and Lillian McClellan.

Mike is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Loretta Auxier, Easton; sisters, Rita McCravy and husband, Hal, Easton, Rebecca Stowell, Kansas City, MO; brother, Mark Auxier and wife, Kelley, King City, MO; brother-in-law, Merle Stowell, Easton; nieces and nephews, Tabatha, Tanya, Tina, Philip, Billy, Ronnie, Adam, Justin, Samantha, Donavan, and Eddie; special friend, Nikki; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.

Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower, MO.

Visitation: 6:30-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
