Michael Davis

Michael Kenneth Davis, 63, of Edgerton, MO passed away, Monday, November 28, 2016 at his home.

He was born on December 8, 1952 to Robert Eugene and Florence Ann (Beswick) Davis in Kansas City, MO.  Michael graduated from Smithville High School.

On January 11, 1985 he was united in marriage to Desi Braden.  After their marriage they lived in Edgerton where they made their home.

Michael worked for Metro Park Warehouses in Kansas City, KS for 39 years.  He was a member of Local Union 838.  Michael was also a member of the Community of Christ.  Michael was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will be missed forever.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, brother, Patrick Davis, and niece, Melissa Henderson.

He is survived by his wife Desi, of the home; daughters, Michelle Hensley, Stacy Matthews, Rebekah Miller, and Megan Davis; nine grandchildren; his mother, Florance Davis; sisters, Susan Seykora, Harriet Davis, and Barbara Lewis; brother-in-law, Mark Braden and wife Lori; several nieces and nephews and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Gathering of family and friends will be held 6:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, December 2nd at Community of Christ, Smithville, MO.
