Melba F. Sellars

Melba F. Sellars, 71, of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007.

She was born on September 14, 1935 to Robert Elmer and Effie (Roberts) Reynolds near Gower, MO where she grew up and attended school.

On November 24, 1951 she was united in marriage to Ollie Nathan Sellars. They lived most of their life in St. Joseph, MO where they made their home.

Melba worked for Stetson Hats for several years and later she drove truck throughout the country with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Robert Daniel Sellars and sisters, Viola Reeves and Bernice Musser.

Melba is survived by Ollie Nathan Sellars, daughter, Linda Diane Myers, St. Joseph; son, David Sellars, Savannah, MO; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Allen, Tucson, AZ and Margaret Hyatt, Independence, MO; brothers, Melvin and Jewell Reynolds, both of Gower and Harold Reynolds, Deepwater, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 9^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, MO, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Inurnment: Frazier Cemetery at a later date.
