MAXINE I. MOORE

Maxine I. Moore, 78, of Gower, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2006.

She was born on January 14, 1928 to Alphie Elijah and Lula May (Jenkins) Bennett in Louisville, Illinois. She grew up near Oregon, Illinois and graduated from Stillman Valley High School.

On October 15, 1946 she was united in marriage to Clyde Francis Moore. After her husband retired from the military they returned to Oregon, Illinois and in 1989 they moved to Gower where they made their home. Her husband, Clyde, passed away, July 28, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Betty Eals, Lenora Reynolds and Opal Berg and three brothers, Merle Bennett, Garnett Bennett and Alphie Bennett, Jr.

She is survived by son; Charles W. Moore and wife, Sharon, Ft. Myers, Florida, daughter; Linda L. Snyder and husband, Ron, Gower, grandson; Jeffrey Alan Snyder, granddaughter; Lyndsay Ann Snyder, great-granddaughter; Bridgett Leeann Sherrill, three step-grandchildren; Tina, Kim and Tim, , two brothers,; Glenn Bennett, Mt. Morris, Illinois and Dale Bennett, Little Rock, Arkansas, two sisters; Virginia Stangley, Rochelle, Illinois and Veda Leifheit, Dunedin, Florida, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 a.m. Monday July 31st at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, MO.
BURIAL: Leavenworth National Cemetery Leavenworth, Kansas
VISITATION: 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
