Mary Lou Smith
Mary Lou Smith, 88, of Oklahoma City, OK formerly of Edgerton, MO passed away February 6, 2018.
She was born on March 2, 1929 to Rufus H. and Agnes Cora (Parker) McMackin in Conception Junction, MO. Mary grew up and attended school near Milford, MO.
On March 28, 1950 she was united in marriage to Archie T. Smith. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, KS until 1958 when they moved to Edgerton, MO here they made their home. In 1997, they moved to Plattsburg, MO. Archie passed away on October 3, 1998 and in 2010 she moved to Oklahoma City, OK.
Mary held various jobs over the years and her passion was being a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and later Harvest Christian Center in New Market, MO.
She was also preceded in death by her son Robert Dean Smith; grandson Robert Thomas Smith, great-granddaughter Erica Angelina Hay; daughter-in-law Patsy Ann Smith; her parents and 15 brothers and sisters.
Mary is survived by her children Donna Hay and husband Ronnie, Tom Smith and wife Teresa, Becky Anderson, Beverly Goad and husband Steve and Tim Smith and wife
Christy; twenty grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brother Robert McMackin; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday February 11th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home Edgerton
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday February 12th at the funeral home
