Mary Lee (Morton) Bogart

 

Mary Lee Bogart, 84, of Ferrelview, MO, passed away, Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Hillview Nursing and Rehab in Platte City.

She was born on November 30, 1925 to David Clark and Ruby Elizabeth (Bullock) Morton near Smithville, Missouri, and graduated from Smithville High School.

On February 15, 1947 she was united in marriage to Charles Clifton Bogart. After their marriage they lived in Ferrelview where they made their home. Her husband, Charlie, passed away, January 17, 1975.

Mary Lee was a homemaker and raised her three children. She later worked for Ramada Inn in Tiffany Springs.

She was an active member of the Hoover Christian Church. Mary Lee was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Mary Lee is survived by her children, Glenys Allen and husband, David, Platte City, MO, Alan Bogart and wife, Mary, Kansas City, MO, Kim Bedsaul, Ferrelview, MO; six grandchildren, Shawn, Michelle and husband, Kent, David, Allison, Erin and husband, Trevor, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Zach, Lauren and husband, Kyle, Samantha, Riley, Kirby, Jake, Seth, Adam, Levi, Rubi, Syerra, and Madelyn; brother, David W. “Bud” Morton and wife, Marilyn, Smithville, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives many friends.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25th at Hoover Christian Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Private Family Inurnment: Second Creek Cemetery

Donations may be made to the church.
