Mary Jeane (Meek) Riddle
Mary Jeane Riddle, of Faucett, MO, passed away, Monday, August 15, 2011 at her home.
She was born on February 16, 1930 to Elmer Franklin and Olive Florence (Page) Meek in Wallace, MO. In 1948 Mary graduated from Faucett High School.
In 1948 she was united in marriage to Charles “Dick” Riddle. Together they had seven children which became her lifelong profession of being a wife, mother and homemaker. Mary loved to play the piano and was a great cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Cynthia Stalder and Dorothy Riddle and brother, James Meek and an infant sister.
Mary is survived by her husband Charles, of the home; children, Frank Riddle and wife, Connie, Farley, MO, Bonnie Sissom and husband, Dan, Birmingham, MO, Brenda Lewis and husband, Ed, Dearborn, MO, Vicki Burge and husband Chris, Laurie, MO, Rick Riddle and wife, Theresa, Parkville, MO, Mike Riddle and wife, Terri, Faucett, MO, and Doug Riddle and wife, Trudi, Faucett, MO; sixteen grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren; brother, Caryle Meek, Smithville, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday August 19th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville
Burial: Platte City Cemetery
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 18th at the funeral home.
