Mary Frances (Brasher) Roberts
Mary Frances Roberts, 88, of Smithville, MO went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at her home.
She was born on July 19, 1926 to Alma Lawrence and Ethel Dean (Barber) Brasher in Stockton, MO where she grew up and attended school. Mary had a passion for writing and was the author of several books.
Mary was an active member of the Family Worship Center in Smithville. She devoted her life to helping others including, intercity youth, co-workers and family. Her faith in God and her ability to share her witness with others was her greatest gift of all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Barbara and Maxine, and brother Charles.
Mary is survived by daughter, Judy Reynolds and husband Kenny; grandchildren Becky and Kenny; son William Ayres and wife Patricia; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Charles and Katherine; daughter, Pam Routon and husband Richard; grandchildren, Cary and Amy; son, Carl Nichols and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Paul, Jeremy and Rebecca; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 31st at Family Worship Center, Smithville, MO
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the church
Donations may be made to the church.
