MARY E. KLINE
Mary Evelyn (Snyder) Kline, 87, of North Little Rock, AR passed away on Friday, November 4, 2005. She was born July 19, 1918 to James Rodger and Ora H. Snyder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max S. Kline, by her brother Jesse Rodger Snyder, and by three sisters; Anna Margaret LaFollette, Ora Dale Snyder and Betty Pugh.
She is survived by two sons and their families. Rodger Kline of Little Rock and Richard and Dixie Kline of Alma; five grandchildren, Nick Kline of Bellevue, Wash., Nathan Kline of Little Rock, Tracy Mitchell of Garland, TX., Rachel Spears of Cedar Hill, MO., and Brook Brewer of Fayetteville. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and fourteen nieces and nephews.
Mary was born in Agency, Missouri and grew up on a farm there. She loved the farm life where she learned to work tirelessly. Her heart really never left the farm although she moved away when she married Max while he was in college. They moved to Little Rock in 1940.
Mary soon became a member of the Sylvan Hills Methodist church where she anchored her life for the next 57 years. She was active in all the activities involving the ladies of the church. She loved cooking, sewing, and making things for other people. She always volunteered to serve and help others and spent much of her time assisting and encouraging family, friends, neighbors, or anyone else she met.
She died following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer?s disease which disabled her for the final few years of her life.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at Frazier Baptist church, Frazier, MO with Reverend H. (Doc) Arnett presiding.
Burial will be at Frazier Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sylvan Hills United Methodist church, North Little Rock, AR; the Alzheimer?s Association or any charity of choice.
