Mary Ann (Wood) Kelsey
Mary Ann Kelsey, 91, of Agency, MO, passed away, Thursday, May 31, 2012.
She was born on September 28, 1920 to Noah Foster and Nellie Helen (Singer) Wood near St. Joseph, MO. She grew up near Gower and graduated from Gower High School in 1937.
On August 23, 1939 she was united in marriage to Henry T. Kelsey. After their marriage they lived near St. Joseph, where they farmed and operated Kelsey Apple Orchard. Her husband, Henry, passed away February 23, 1996.
Mary Ann was a member of the Frazier Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Lois Wood, her daughter, Nancy Shiflett, and granddaughter, Gay Ann Lough.
She is survived by her son, David H. Kelsey and wife Sherrill; daughters, Marianne Lough and husband Bill, Wichita, KS; and Alice Lee Kelsey-Christgen, of the home; grandchildren, Mark (Helen) Kelsey, Kris (Amy) Kelsey, Erin (Brian) Burnham, Dana (Charlie) Barnett, Tracy Lough, D.J. Christgen, Shelly (Jeff) Samenus, Bart (Leigh Ann) Shiflett; sixteen great-grandchildren, Jordan, Josh, Josline, Gracie, Allie, Maggie, Leo, Austin, Grant, Jennifer, Andrea, Samantha, Kelsey, Connor, Tallon and Taryn; two great-great grandchildren, Avaun and David; other relatives including, Alma Day and many friends.
Funeral Services: 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 4th at the Frazier Baptist Church.
Burial: Frazier Cemetery
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Donations may be made to the church building fund or the cemetery.
