Mary Ann (Nichols) Dockery
Mary Ann (Nichols) Dockery, 62, of St. Joseph, formerly of Plattsburg, Mo., passed away, Friday, September 14, 2007 at her home.
She was born on June 20, 1945 to James Theodore and Opal Pearl (Bishop) Nichols in Perrin, Mo. She attended school in Plattsburg and later attended Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph.
Mary loved quilting and genealogy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Leroy Nichols and Howard Virgil Nichols.
She is survived by her husband, Don; sons, Brian A. “Pete” Russell and Robert D. Barnett, all of St. Joseph; daughter, Anna Kristine Sollars, Savannah; ten grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley, Amber, Brian, Jr., Katelyn, Brandi, Amanda, Harley, Alyssia and Wyatt; two great-grandchildren, Blake and Travis; sisters, Edna Mae Bernard and Ellen Rose Harris, both of Kansas City, Mo., and Minnie Pearl Asher, Hamilton, Mo.; brothers, Billy Gene Nichols, Rushville, Mo., Jimmy Lee Nichols, Osborn, Mo., and Lawrence Alvin Nichols, Lathrop, Mo., numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE AND BURIAL: 1:00 P.M., Monday, September 17th at Perrin Cemetery, northeast of Plattsburg.
VISITATION: 7:00-8:30 P.M., Sunday at the Hixson-Klein Funeral, Gower, Mo.
