MARTHA NOLAND

Martha C. Noland, 83, of Smithville, MO, passed away, Thursday, October 19, 2006 at her home.

She was born on November 12, 1922 to Calvin Adkins and Cynthia James (McClary) Rule in Smithville, MO, where she grew up and graduated from Smithville High School.

On September 6, 1947 she was united in marriage to Westley A. Noland. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home. Her husband, Westley, passed away, November 18, 1989.

Martha worked as a Bookkeeper for many years and was a member of the Smithville United Methodist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Dorothy Summers and Wilma Scobee.

Martha is survived by four children, Jim Noland, Kathy Hoke and husband, James, Michael Noland and wife, Kathy, and Karen Noland, all of Smithville, MO; eight grandchildren, Traci, Christi, Nathan, Jeffrey, Jason, Justin, Morgan and Cynthia; six great-grandchildren, Kylie, Gabe, Tanner, Kolton, Luke and Addison; and her cousin, Jean Porter, Smithville, MO; other relatives and many friends.

Private Family Services were held at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Smithville.
