Martha Marie (Pine) Buck

 

Martha Buck, 83, of Camden Point, MO passed away, Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Hillview Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on July 4, 1932 to William Leslie an Elsie Mae (Randall) Pine in Platte County, MO.  Martha graduated from Lathrop High School.

On February 25, 1951 she was united in marriage to John L. Buck.  After their marriage they lived in Hamilton and Camden Point where they farmed.  Her husband, John, passed away February 2, 2013.

Martha was known for her artistic talents and cake decorating.  She was a member of the Christ Chapel Assembly of God in Platte City.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Leslie, Lee, Vernon, Dale, Dean, and infant twin Martin, sister Doris Fields, and son-in-law, Brocious Dudley.

She is survived by her children, Belinda Hobbs and husband Joe, Louisville, KY,  David L. Buck, Camden Point, MO, Gayle Wood and husband Curt, Grand Lake, OK, Julie Dudley, Camden Point, MO; grandchildren, Dustin, Caitlin, John and Tate Buck, Amber Yourman, Chris Wood, Lucas, Dakotah and Nathan Dudley; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Elias, Gabriel, Thea, Josephine and Jadyn; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 18th at Christ Chapel Assembly of God in Platte City, with visitation 1:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Inurnment will be held at a later date New Market Cemetery.

    I've known Mrs. Buck since I was six years old and have many happy memories of her. I'll miss her smiling face at Hillview. My love and prayers go out to her family and friends.
