Martha Ann “Marty” Driver

Martha Ann “Marty” Driver, 74 of Smithville, MO passed away, Saturday, May 25, 2013.

She was born on March 13, 1939 to Marvin and Norma (Razer) Sudbury in Aid, MO. Marty attended school at Hardin Public School and graduated in 1957. Marty also attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg.

In 1959 she was united in marriage to Larry Allen Driver. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home.

Marty worked for the Uhlmann Company for 35 years and retired in 2001.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Sidney Parks; sister-in-law, Connie Vick and brother-in-law, Dennis Dale Driver.

Marty is survived by her husband, Larry, of the home; sons Mark Driver and wife Leslie, and Leigh Driver and wife Suzanne; two grandsons, Blake Driver and Grant Driver; two step-grandchildren, Jeff Jorgenson and Nicole Jorgenson; two sisters, Edith Parks and Kathy French and husband Philip; brother-in-law Danny Driver and wife Brenda; also many nieces, nephews and friends.

Marty loved books, spicy foods and Garth Brooks, and she had a large zest for life.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 29^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation one hour prior to the service.
