She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Junior Atkins, her parents, a sister, Leticia Scott James of Leavenworth, KS, a brother, Martin Aker Scott of Trimble, MO, and a nephew, Robert S. Marjorie was born August 8, 1920, to Martin Aker Scott and Cecil Homes Scott. She grew up near Smithville graduating in 1938. She attended the University of Missouri to study Home Economics.
