Marion “Mick” Mick

Marion “Mick” Francis Mick, 78, of Plattsburg, MO passed away December 4, 2023.

He was born July 31, 1945, to Oswald “Ozzie” and Lorraine (Taylor) Mick in Plattsburg, MO where he grew up and graduated from Plattsburg High School. He then served his county in the United States Navy.

On February 11, 1985, he was united in marriage to Peggy (Manus) Rawlings. After their marriage they lived in Plattsburg where they made their home. Peggy passed away on December 18, 2015. 

Mick was an over the road truck driver and later drove a school bus for the Plattsburg School District. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Ozzie and Lorraine Mick, his wife Peggy Mick, and 9 brothers and sisters Sharon Mick, John Henry Mick, Donnie Mick, Herman Mick, Geraldean Mick, Karolin Mick and Helen Mick. 

Mick is survived by children Frankie Joe Rawlings, Twila (Tom) Berryman, Linda Mae Rawlings and Eddie (Jada) Rawlings; grandchildren Dillon (Emily) Knight, Brandon Knight, Cheyanne Berryman, Denver Berryman, and Montana Elkins; great-grandson Wesson Knight; brother Dennis Mick; sister Elizabeth Miner; several nieces and nephews including John and Sandra Musser, Mitchell (Sara) Mick and David Mick; other relatives and many, many friends.
