Marie Shea

Reba Marie Shea 95, of St. Joseph, MO passed away June 27, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Daphne, Alabama.

She was born on January 19, 1921 to John Delver and Iva (Kennedy) Routh in Humansville, MO. 

On February 14, 1942 she was united in marriage to Thomas Barry Shea.  After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph, MO where they made their home.  Her husband Thomas passed away on August 29, 1992.

Marie was a member of Catholic Faith.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter Rose Marie Calkins; brothers and sisters Charles Routh, Jess Routh, Catherine Greenstreet, John D. Routh, Jr., and Virginia Cadotte,

Marie is survived by her children Karla Gamble and husband John and Thomas Shea, Jr. and wife Melodie; grandchildren Ann Marie Fisher and husband Paul, John Berry Gamble, Christine Struve and husband Daniel, Craig Calkins; great-grandchildren Olivia, Charles and Zackry; brother Donald Routh and wife Rose; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Mass 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20th with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the services at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Plattsburg.
