Margie B. Reynolds
Margie B. Reynolds, 67, of Gower, Mo., passed away, Monday, June 18, 2007 at her home.
She was born on September 25, 1939 to Orville and Tinney E. (Taber) Wright in American Falls, Idaho. The family later moved to Missouri and Margie graduated from Plattsburg High School.
On February 13, 1958 she was united in marriage to Jewell W. Reynolds. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City for 32 years, and in 1991 they retired and returned near Gower where they made their home.
Margie was a bookkeeper for Montgomery Ward for over 5 years and later ran a Daycare in her home for 25 years.
Margie was a member of the Gower Cornerstone Church of God. She was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She tended beautiful flower gardens and enjoyed the beauty of rocks and shells and many of God’s natural creations. She was a woman of great faith dedicated to serving God and showing love, compassion and care to her family, her church family, and many people whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Gladys Craft and Ruby Roe.
Margie is survived by her husband, Jewell of the home; sons, Andrew “Andy” W. Reynolds and wife, Susi, Gower, MO, Brian D. Reynolds and wife, Barb, Wylie, Texas; daughter, Gayle S. Dobson and husband, Aaron, Greenwood, MO; grandchildren, Drew, Piper and Paige Reynolds; great-grandsons, Brett and Keegen Reynolds; brother, Bob Wright and wife, Beverly, Afton, OK; sisters, Darlene Schriever and husband, Bill, and Nancy Culver and husband, Denby, all of Kansas City, MO, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 20th , at Gower Cornerstone Church of God.
BURIAL: Mt. Zion Cemetery
VISITATION: 6:30-8:30 P.M., Tuesday, at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
