Margie A. (Ashcraft) Boydston

Margie A. (Ashcraft) Boydston, 86, of Edgerton, MO, passed away, Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Riverside Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born on August 30, 1921 to William Robert and Kate Louise (Pitt) Ashcraft in Sugar Creek, Missouri, where she attended school and grew up.

On May 25, 1946 she was united in marriage to Ben F. Boydston. After their marriage they lived in Sugar Creek until 1976 when they moved to Bennett Springs. In 1988 the moved to Edgerton where they made their home. Her husband, Ben, passed away March 19, 1995.

Margie worked for KATZ Warehouse in Kansas City until 1947. She later worked for Montgomery Wards in Kansas City from 1961 until 1976, when she retired.

She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Edgerton and past member of the Sugar Creek Methodist Church.

Margie was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William R. Ashcraft, Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald Boydston and wife Sauna, and Gary Boydston and wife Barbara. She also leaves six grandchildren, Ben, Gina, Jessica, April, Carey and Andy and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton, MO, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial: Davis Chapel Cemetery, Dearborn, MO.
