Margaret (Middleton) Foster

Margaret (Middleton) Foster, 85 of Kansas City, MO passed away January 23, 2015. 

 

She was born on June 24, 1929 to Jerome and Anna Pauline (Seckels) Middleton in Edgerton, MO where she grew up.  In 1947 she graduated from Camden Point High School.  In 1948 she graduated from Casters Beauty School.  Margaret owned and operated Margaret?s Beauty Shop for several years.

 

On February 14, 1949 she was united in marriage to Earl Foster, Jr.  After their marriage they lived in Edgerton and moved to Kansas City North where they made their home.  They were blessed with three sons.  Her husband of 38 years, Earl passed away on January 7, 1988.

 

Margaret was a life long member of the Community of Christ Church and was ordained as an Elder in 2005.  She was also a member of the Highlands Red Hat Society.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers Russell, Marion and Gerald Middleton, infant sister June and grandson Jason Foster.

 

Margaret is survived by her sons, Mike Foster and wife Donna, Pat Foster and wife Kaye and Jeff Foster and wife Linda; seven grandchildren, Eric Foster and wife Britt, Rachel Bassing and husband Adam, Sarah Doerr and husband Tim, Jerad Foster and wife Jessica, Ryan Foster and wife Amanda, Stephanie Foster, and Alex Foster and fiancé Ashley; great-grandchildren Carson and Parker Bassing, Danny, Jay and Timmy Doerr, Gavin and Avery Foster, Charlie Foster, Lincoln and Nora Foster; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25th with visitation hour prior to the service at Highlands Community of Christ Church, KC, MO  

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Highland Community of Christ Church or Northcare Hospice
