Margaret J. Crouse
Margaret Joan (Grier) Crouse, 89 of Easton, MO passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007.
She was born on August 1, 1917 to Arthur B. and Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Grier in Hemple, MO where she grew up and in 1937 graduated from Gower High School.
On February 27, 1946 she was united in marriage to Clifford Frank Crouse. After their marriage they lived in rural Easton where they dairy farmed. Margaret loved to garden and take care of flowers.
Margaret was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Easton, where she served as past President for the Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Brian Crouse, three brothers, Bill Grier, Charles Grier and Arthur Grier, and three sisters, Agnes Grier, Nellie Grier and Mary Sweeney.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clifford of the home, four sons, Stephen Crouse, Arthur Crouse and wife, DiAnne, George Crouse and wife, Diane, and John Crouse and wife, Cindy, all of Easton, one daughter, Marilyn Rittenberg and husband, Michel, Coral Gables, FL, nine grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, McKenzie, Bethany, Jami, Jill, Jessica, Ryan, and Camille, one great-granddaughter, Emily, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial: 12:00 P.M. Thursday, March 22nd at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Easton
Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Easton
Rosary: 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower (Mass at St. Joseph Parish will be cancelled)
Donations may go to St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Kendallwood Hospice or the Gower Convalescent Center.
