MARGARET E. McCLELLAND

Margaret E. McClelland, 87, of Gower, MO, passed away, Monday, March 6, 2006 at the Gower Convalescent Center.

She was born on January 17, 1919 to William and Maude Mae (Maddox) Barnhill near Gower, MO, where she grew up. Margaret graduated from Grayson High School.

Margaret was united in marriage to Jewell Vernon McClelland. After their marriage they lived in the Gower area, where they made their home.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gower.

Margaret was preceded in death her parents, two sons, Bill and Dave McClelland, and one daughter, Pamela McClelland, one brother, Chester Barnhill, and one sister, Genevieve Moore.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Drake and husband, Darrell, Hutchinson, KS, four grandchildren, Stacy Adkins, Rebecca Holcomb, Terry McClelland, and Ryan McClelland, ten great-grandchildren, one sister, Georgia Lee Reed, Gower, MO, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 9th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial: Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower.
