Marcia Elaine (Mallinson) Williams

Marcia Elaine Williams, 95, of Gladstone, MO passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014.

 

She was born on May 24, 1919 to William and Ethel Mallinson in Kansas City, MO where she grew up and attended school. 

 

On August 26, 1942 she was united in marriage to Henry Emmit Williams.  After their marriage they lived in Kansas City later moving to Gladstone where they made their home.  Her husband Henry passed away on August 1, 2006.

 

Marcia was a member of the Christian Faith.  She worked in the nursery at a church in Gladstone for several years and enjoyed cleaning and being outdoors.

 

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother Charles Mallinson. 

 

Marcia is survived by her son Steve Williams, Gladstone, MO; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

 

Funeral Service:  1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 6^th  at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower

Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower
