Lyle Kenneth Munsterman

Lyle Kenneth Munsterman, 82, of Weston, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2007.

He was born on July 5, 1925 to Emil Christopher and Viola Mae (Thacher) Munsterman. Lyle grew up and attended school in Platte County.

On September 30, 1949 he was united in marriage to Mary Sue Kelley. After their marriage they lived in Dekalb and in 1955 moved to Weston where they farmed and made their home.

Lyle also worked for the Missouri Valley Shipyard in Leavenworth, Kansas for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Frances Weigart and Dorothy Humes.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; four sons, Kenny Munsterman and wife, Frances, Weston, Roger Munsterman and wife, Brenda, Kansas City, MO, Bob Munsterman and wife, Jeannie, Weston, MO, and Larry Munsterman and wife, Marie, Platte City, MO; two daughters, Susie Pollock and Pamela Hamilton, both of Weston; thirteen grandchildren, Kena, Michael Ladd, Michael, Misty, Kari, Kelley, Cody, Tyler, Sarah, Salena, Samantha, Trevor and Alex; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; one brother, Emil “Bud” Munsterman, Agency, MO, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 27^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton.

Burial: Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Weston

Visitation: 6:30-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
