Lucille A. (Fleener) Brasel
Lucille A. Brasel, 95, of St. Joseph, MO, formerly of the Plattsburg, MO area, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Clinton County Care and Rehab in Plattsburg.
She was born on July 13, 1912 to Perry and Nannie Mae (Yocum) Fleener in Mound City, MO where she attended school and grew up.
On March 1, 1941 she was united in marriage to Harry Marvin Brasel. After their marriage they farmed in the Starfield area until 1977 when they moved to St. Joseph. Her husband, Harry, passed away on October 28, 1979.
Lucille was a member of the Christian Faith.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.
Lucille is survived by two daughters, Karen Christian and husband, Leslie, Lexington, MO, and Sharen Devling and husband “Speck”, Plattsburg, MO; one son, Bill Parson, Newbern, NC; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 29th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph
Donations may be made to the Stony Point Cemetery.
