To my family, It saddens me to write this but sometimes things happen that we just can’t control. My memories of Lori are mostly when she was little. She was full of life and sweet as can be. She was my side kick and attached at my hip and I wouldn’t of had it any other way. We went camping and she attended church in Louisburg she was amazing even then and I  will forever have my memories of her and keep her close in my heart. Love and prayers Kathie and family.

Lori and I became friends in Jr high many years ago. She was so beautiful with that gorgeous red hair. I have so many fond memories of her. Spending the night at each other’s homes. Camping at Smithville. Homecoming dances and double dating. Swimming in Line Creek and riding George the donkey. She was always more mature than any of us girls and almost like a mom at times. She loved her family dearly. That’s the LorI I remember. I hope her family and friends can find some comfort in the fact that so many people have great memories of her and they are all consistent in that she was kind, generous, loving, and fun. I am so sorry for your loss.

One of the things that I will always remember about Lori is the particular way she held her hands. She loved having her nails done and her bling rings shined and sparkling. So even while she was doing something as non-glamorous as swinging a hammer, she made it look fluid and graceful.

I am very sorry for your lossI alway thought she had the greatest smile.  I loved to hear her laugh.  I always thought she has the best hair and could do almost anything with it.  I wished I could do my hair the way she did some of her styles.  I will miss her dearly and seeing that beautiful smile.

I went to HS with Lori.  We had a few classes together and had long, deep conversations about our lives and many other important issues.  Her sense of humor and gift of giving it to me straight are two things I remember and appreciated about her.  As years passed and we lived life, we caught up through social media.  I loved her posts and will miss them.Your family will always be in my prayers.  Thank you for your friendship, Lori.  I’ll miss you.

Lori was one of the first friends I made back in 1981 when my family moved to Kansas City. She remained a friend throughout elementary school, middle school, and high school. I regret that we lost touch after I joined the Navy. She was a very sweet girl and I know her family and friends will miss her deeply. My most heartfelt condolences.
