Lois Mary (Boydston) Goodson
Lois Mary (Boydston) Goodson, 83, of Parkville, MO, formerly of rural Platte County passed away, Monday, July 3, 2017.
She was born on November 1, 1933 to Daniel and Mabel (Bacon) Boydston in Edgerton, MO. She graduated from Edgerton High School in Edgerton, MO in 1951.
In 1995, Lois retired from Montgomery Wards. She loved to quilt, read, play pitch, fishing and spending time with her family.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Mabel Boydston; daughter Donna Jean Goodson; and son Jesse Daniel “Danny” Goodson.
She is survived by her sons David D. Goodson and wife Darla, Kansas City, MO, Dwayne D. Goodson and wife Vicki, Platte City, MO; daughters Deborah D. “Debbie” Richardson and husband Marty, Camden Point, MO and Mary Denise “DeDe” Jones and husband Walter, Smithville, MO; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Dale Boydston, Edgerton, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 7th with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior the service at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton.
Burial: Ridgely Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to Ridgely Cemetery.
