LOIS J. JONES

Lois Jean Jones, 60, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away, Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Providence Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas.

She was born on December 5, 1945 in Glasgow, MO and later attended Westside High School in Kansas City, MO.

Lois worked for Bethany Medical Center in Kansas City, KS, for many years.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terrie Ann Swiercinsky, her father, Farris G. Lindsay, her mother, Mary Lee (Carter) Vann and step-father, Carthel E. “Chief” Vann and her ex-husband, Harry E. Jones (Tracey‘s father).

Lois is survived by: daughter, Tracey L. Cashman and husband, Brad, Albuquerque, NM, two granddaughters: Ashley Nicole Reed and Tiffany Ann Swiercinsky and one grandson: Nicholous John Reed, sister: Alpha Yarkasky and husband, Steve, Independence, MO, brothers: Robert Lindsay and wife, Bonnie, Excelsior Springs, MO, Dale Stallman and wife, Margaret and Donald Stallman and wife, Ellen, all of Glasgow, MO, ex-husband, Edward N. Brown (Terrie‘s father), several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 6th, at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton, MO.
BURIAL: Ridgely Cemetery
VISITATION: Noon to 2:00 P.M., Saturday, prior to the service.
