Linda Sue (Scarbrough) Lunsford
Linda Lunsford, 66, of Linn Valley, KS, formerly of St. Joseph, MO passed away, Friday, May 17, 2013.
She was born on March 25, 1947 to Henry Nathan and Lettie Ilene (Stottlemyre) Scarbrough in Unionville, MO and graduated high school in Storm Lake, IA.
On December 22, 1982 she was united in marriage to Lee Lunsford, Sr. After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph, Sedalia and Kansas City. In 2005 they moved to Linn Valley, KS where they made their home.
Linda worked for IDI in Kansas City, KS for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sheila Lunsford, and one brother, Larry Vern Teeter.
Linda is survived by her husband, Lee, of the home; sons Dwight Bruce Vaughn and wife Denise, San Antonio, TX, Lee Lunsford, Jr., and Rodney Dean Lunsford, both of Atchison, KS; sister, Deloris Ann Miller and husband Gene; brothers, Randal Dean Scarbrough and wife Ruby and Terry Lee Teeter; several grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 20th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, MO with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial: Frazier Cemetery
