Linda Sue Mangels
Linda Sue Mangels, 69, of Smithville, MO passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
She was born on September 30, 1947 to Jasper David and Sarah Jo (Moore) Headrick in Kansas City, MO. She attended school and grew up in Smithville and graduated from Smithville High School in 1966.
On June 21, 1969, she was united in marriage to Donald E. Mangels. After their marriage, they lived in Smithville where they made their home. Her husband Don passed away on January 1, 2012.
Linda worked for Hallmark Cards, Big V in Smithville and the Smithville Cleaners.
She was a member of the First Baptist in Smithville.
Linda was also preceded in death by her parents Jasper and Sarah Headrick and brother William D. “Buddy” Headrick.
She is survived by her daughters Stacy Mangels-McClasky and husband Mark and Shelley Delich; granddaughters Kayla White and husband Joseph and Victoria and Emily Delich, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 31st with visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville
Burial: Community of Smithville Memorial Cemetery, Inc., Smithville
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Smithville or Northcare Hospice
