Linda L (Noland) Brown

Linda L. Brown, 66, of Stewartsville, MO, passed away, Monday, March 28, 2011.

She was born on September 13, 1944 to George Thomas and Melba Lorene (McFaddin) Noland in St. Joseph, Missouri. Linda grew up in Easton, Missouri and graduated from Easton High School in 1962.

On July 20, 1962 she was united in marriage to Keith H. Brown. After their marriage they were stationed in Germany, and in 1965 they returned home. In 2007 they retired to Stewartsville, MO where they and made their home with their daughter and son-in-law.

Linda graduated from Front Range Community College in 1988. She always worked hard to improve the lives of their family. She was a caregiver for the mentally handicapped at Denton State School in Texas, which was her most fulfilling job. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Charles Noland, and an infant brother.

She is survived by her husband, Keith, daughter, Darby Grier and husband Art, Stewartsville, MO, Keith Brown, Jr., Stamford, TX, Jason Brown and wife Angelica, Richardson, TX, Dustin Brown and Suzy, Denton, TX; grandchildren, Joshua Walkup, Christopher Grier, Holly Grier, Michael Duran, Jessica Duran, Nicholas Brown, Brian Brown, Aaron Brown; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Noland, Michael Noland, Walter Noland, sister, Deborah Day; several beloved brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31^st at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.

Burial: Blakely Cemetery

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
