Linda Howard

Linda Howard, 76, of Trimble, MO passed away, December 25, 2020.

She was born February 22, 1944 to Harry William and Edith Irene (Long) Lewis in St. Joseph, MO. Linda grew up in Plattsburg and graduated from Plattsburg High School. She then attended nursing school.

On March 4, 1962 she was united in marriage to David C. Howard. After their marriage they made their home on the family farm. Her husband, David, passed away May 27, 2010.

Linda was a member of the Paradise Methodist Church. Linda worked for Dr. Hobbs for over 20 years and retired from Hildebrand Dental both in Plattsburg. After her retirement she enjoyed flowers, gardening, and playing bridge with her friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Linda East.

Linda is survived by her sons, Greg (Barbara) Howard, Randy (Dina) Howard, and Brad Howard; grandchildren, Lindsey (Chase) Hunt and Tommy (Tori) Howard; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Calloway, Addi, Coleson, Anniston, and Curtis; sister, Sandy (Bill) Jones; brother, Frankie (Kathy) Lewis brother-in-law, Shay East; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 28th at Fairview Cemetery, Lilly, MO.

Donations may be made to Paradise Methodist Church.

    I was in high school with Linda and David, too. I was also Bradley’s 6th grade teacher. I remember Linda as a very sweet and attractive girl. I send my sincere sympathy and I know she is at peace.
