Linda (Evans) Sparks
Linda E. Sparks, 49, of St. Joseph, MO formerly of Smithville, MO passed away, Saturday, April 28, 2012.
She was born on July 5, 1962 to Melvin Neal and Bonnie Louise (Brooks) Evans in Independence, MO. Linda graduated from Smithville High School.
Linda worked for the U.S. Post Office in Gladstone and St. Joseph.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Smithville.
Linda is survived by her children, Matt Jennings, Smithville, MO and Lauren Sparks, Dahlonega, GA; parents, Melvin and Bonnie Evans, Smithville; sister, Debora Harlow and husband Larry, Dearborn, MO; aunt, Doris Griffin and husband William, Mexico, MO; other relatives many friends.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 2nd at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Burial: Ridgley Cemetery
Visitation: 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the cemetery.

I worked with Linda for a while a few years ago. I will always consider her a friend. She was an amazing professional and an amazing lady. My prayers are with you all.

Melvin and Bonnie, We were surprised and shocked to learn of the passing of your daughter, Linda. We are so sorry for you all and her children. There are not words to make it alright. Just know we have you all in our thoughts and prayers.
