She was a great manager to work for, a lady, a nice person, and had a great sense of humor.

I am very saddened to hear that Lillian has passed away! We worked together at St.Joseph Light and Power Co. many years ago even bowled with her on the same team. I was looking forward to meeting up with her when she came to Kansas to move/visit daughters and for treatment. We kept our long distance friendship going through Facebook. Thoughts and prayers to her daughters, Gene, family and friends. She was a wonderful person and I am thankful for her friendship. Rest in Peace, Lillian! You will be missed!

Words seem so inadequate to express the lost we feel in the passing of Miss Lil. She was truly a friend to everyone she met. Loved life & fought for it. She loved sports. We knew her in her good golf days when she could enjoy 18 holes. Thank you Miss Lil for being our friend. May you enjoy this journey more than the one here on earth. Our hearts & prayers are with your family & with Mr Gene during this time of sadness but we know you are out of pain & in a much better place with no suffering.
All of our Love

To the Family of Lillian Matthew’s, she will as be remembered as the best female supervisor I ever had. She always encouraged me to be better at my job. We stayed in touch long after working together at the IRS. She always had words of encouragement for me. Heaven has a new Angel.

Patti and Pam, I am so sorry to hear of your mothers’ passing. She is in Heaven now and will be waiting with open arms for you both. I loved her so much back in the 80’s when we lived across the street from each other. Loved our camping trips and all the other things we did together. Am glad i got to see her when she was in Branson every year until i moved back to Poplar Bluff. Will miss her dearly on FB, but know she isn’t hurting now and is in a better placee.
