Leroy Malone

Leroy Malone, 79, of Plattsburg, MO passed away peacefully at his home, September 6, 2024.

He was born on May 5, 1945 to Samuel Robert and Martha Florence Malone. He grew up in Plattsburg and graduated from Plattsburg High School in 1963. He then served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He served two tours and received two purple hearts and other decorations.

Leroy retired from Porters Kearney Body Shop in Kearney, MO. He was an avid NASCAR fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Joyce Mynatt, Carolyn Linhart, and Myrna Porter.

Leroy is survived by his brothers and sisters, Betty (Kenny) Swindler, Ken Malone, Michael Malone, and Rick (Lynnette) Malone; sixteen nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

No services will be held, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
