Leonard Eugene LeCroix III

 

Leonard Eugene LeCroix III, 51, of Trimble, MO formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away February 24, 2009.

He was born on January 7, 1958 to Leonard Eugene, Jr., and Barbara Jean (Schultz) LeCroix in Newport, Rhode Island. Leonard grew up and attended school in San Diego, California. He then lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kansas City and in 2008 moved to Trimble.

On April 30, 2005 he was united in marriage to Melinda Ann Fisher. Leonard was a Black Belt Instructor for Kenpo-Karate for the Central Hawaiian Activities 3 Kenpo-Karate Association. He was a member of Local Union #1594 in Kansas City. Leonard loved his dogs, riding his motorcycle and most of all spending time with his granddaughter.

Leonard was a Drywall Finisher and a Tatoo Artist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Eva, and step-son Andrew Bauer.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Melinda, of the home; one son Geoffrey LeCroix, Honolulu, HA; step-son, Jason Bauer and wife, Casey; granddaughter, Karma, sister, Yvonne Shull and husband, Michael, Kearney, MO; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1st at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville.

Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

    I went to school with Eugene and dated Cathy way back in the 70’s. He was a crazy guy but really fun to be around. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing from Cathy. I will wish him soul well. Peace.

    He was a great friend to my Dad.
    I know he will be met with open arms in Heaven with my Dad.
    I will miss him.
