Leland Coy Rinehart
Leland Coy Rinehart, 91, of Trimble, MO passed away Friday, September 14, 2012.
He was born on June 24, 1921 to Ira and Pearl (Montgomery) Rinehart in Hatfield, MO were he grew up and attended school. Leland then served his country in the US Army during WWII in Aleutian Islands, Alaska.
On May 10, 1942 he was united in marriage to Anna Mae Smyser. After their marriage they lived around Grant City until 1952 when they moved to Parkville, MO. In 1990 they moved to Trimble MO. On September 28, 1991, Anna Mae preceded him in death.
Leland was a life long farmer and built 30 homes, the last one being his home in Trimble.
He was a past Elder of Platte Woods Congregation of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, now known as Community of Christ.
Leland was also preceded in death by his parents, son, Willis Eugene Rinehart on June 10, 1972, and ten brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his three daughters, Annette Hobbs and husband Jimmie, Trimble, MO, LeAnna Baker and husband TC, Trimble, MO, and Gloria Roberts and husband Larry, Parkville, MO; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; brother Homer Rinehart of Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 19th at the Community of Christ in Trimble with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Allendale Cemetery, Allendale, MO.
In lieu of flowers donations to Northcare Hospice and Palliative Care.

Leland was so nice to us and our children during the years we were around him. Thanks, Leland, for letting all the kids run around all over your place and jump on your haybales–it was so much fun.
