Leeman McCrackin
Leeman McCrackin, 76 of Smithville, MO passed away, Thursday, July 28, 2011.
He was born on October 5, 1934 to Lee Albert and Julie Emaline (Yockam) McCrackin in Pottersville, MO. Leeman grew up and attended school in West Plains, MO. He then served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
On January 27, 1962 he was united in marriage to Neva Mae Wake. After their marriage they lived in the Smithville area where they made their home.
Leeman worked for Ford Motor Company in Claycomo for 30 years retiring in 1993. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing pool.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Norman McCrackin and grandson, Wesley Jenkins.
Leeman is survived by his wife, Neva, of the home; children, Jan Marshall and husband, Keith, John McCrackin and wife Denise, and Larry McCrackin; grandchildren, Michael, Leann, James, Roquelle, Taylor, Alyssa, Nikki, Ryan and Craig; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack, Jim, Kenny, and Terry McCrackin; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 1:00-2:30 Monday, August 1st at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.
Graveside Service: 3:00 p.m. Monday at Paradise Cemetery.
