LaVon (Teeple) Hair

LaVon (Teeple) Hair, 64, of Edgerton, MO, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 at her home.

She was born on June 27, 1945 to John William, Jr. and Jessie Eileen (Martin) Teeple in Smithville, MO. LaVon grew up in Edgerton and in 1963 graduated from North Platte High School.

LaVon fried chicken at Harmer’s Café for over 20 years. She loved watching the Chiefs and Derrick Thomas and listening to Waylon Jennings. LaVon played cards with the girls and shot darts as the dart bitch. She also enjoyed crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her father, sister, Pamela Teeple and brother-in-law, Billy Harmer.

LaVon is survived by her children Leah Mosby and husband, Ronnie, Robert Hair and wife, Joely and Tammy Hair; grandchildren, Angela, Devlyn, Jessie, Jimmi, Jacee, and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Emilee, Derrick, Trinity, Alyssa, and Aurora; mother, Eileen Teeple; sisters, Maxine Harmer and Ann Ramseier and husband, Frank; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 18^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton.
