Larry Hohimer
Larry Dale Hohimer, of Ferrelview, MO passed away December 5, 2024.
He was born on July 24, 1943, to Glenn and Nina M. (Wright) Hohimer in Triplett, MO. Larry graduated from Park Hill High School in 1961.
On October 19, 1963, he was united in marriage to Mary Louise Von dem Fange. After their marriage they made their home in Ferrelview.
Larry retired from GM Motors in Kansas City, KS. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Larry enjoyed tinkering with old cars and lawnmowers, reading, watching old western movies and was an avid NASCAR fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Nina Hohimer and an infant sister.
Larry is survived by his wife Mary Hohimer; daughters Sheryl Relyea and husband Denny and Shawn Roetman and husband Tony; grandchildren Tyler (Beth), Aaron, Scott and Emily (Arin); great-grandchildren Kian and Evelyn; brothers Gary (Jean) Hohimer and Ronnie (Syndi) Hohimer; sisters Glenda Mynatt, Diann (Steve) Harralson, Connie Laterra and Rita Benskin; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Masonic Services 7:00 p.m. with Memorial Service following Tuesday December 10th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville, MO.
Donations may be made to Northcare Hospice House.
